Campole is more structured in 2017 though you’d not necessarily know it from first scent because there’s so much flower and spice on that nose. Deep, dark and mysterious. Some beautiful volatility and great bones. In these hands it’s the cabernet franc of Campania, fresh, lifted, high and mighty but always grounded in herbaceous varietal reality. Drink 2022-2028.
