The name Cunto may catch your eye, but the word translates as un racconto, or a "story," in English. This is a classic expression of the Pallagrello Nero grape with a dark inky appearance, loads of fresh acidity and noticeable bitterness in terms of tannins. There is a good amount of plummy fruit to the Alois 2015 Pallagrello Nero Cunto to soften some of those more rigid parts of the wine. Some 8,600 bottles were made.
