Dark fruit nuances are intense in the 2015 Casavecchia di Pontelatone Riserva Trebulanum, with lots of plummy, concentrated richness. This Riserva expression offers some very light tertiary definition with tar, smoke and smoked bacon. The wine shows a thick, loose texture with soft tannins on the close. The main cards played here are density and overall softness. Some 13,000 bottles were made.
